Mainstage Entertainment is a booking service. We match your event with an independent professional DJ and manage the booking. The DJ performs as an independent contractor and supplies their own equipment and insurance.
A deposit taken at booking reserves your date and the performer's time. It is applied to your total. The balance is due on the event day unless agreed otherwise in writing.
You receive an itemized written confirmation when the deposit is paid, listing date, location, hours, package contents and balance due. Paying the deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms.
If we are unable to supply a DJ for your confirmed date, we refund 100% of your deposit within 24 hours.
30 or more days before the event: deposit refunded less a $150 booking fee. 8–29 days: 50% of the deposit refunded. 7 days or fewer: the deposit is retained, as the date and performer were held and turned away from other work.
We will move your booking to a new date at no charge subject to availability. If we cannot cover the new date, section 4 applies.
You are responsible for venue access, power at the performance location, and any venue insurance certificate requirements — tell us on the booking call and we will arrange documentation.
Additional performance time on the event day is billed at the rate quoted in your confirmation, subject to the performer's availability and venue rules.
